I think we won a major battle this weekend.
Since before the Hurricane hit, actually on Aug 26th when the Federal Government became the governing authority for Louisiana, the Bush WH and the Pentagon were in charge of the operation of that state and the response to the natural disaster that struck them.

Now we can see now that after a week, what Louisiana got had little to do with disaster relief. Instead the gang at Bush Co ran a military operation and tried to turn Louisiana into Iraq. Instead of food and water, they delivered guns and 'security'. The first words out Bush's mouth last Friday when he spoke about the Superdome was to look directly at the camera and to tell Americans that the Superdome had been secured. Secured? WTF? If the operation worked, they were about to 'secure' the rest of America too and they still might try.

Bush met with Governor Blanco and tried to trick her into signing over control of Louisiana for good. Of course Blanco didn't fall for that one. Instead she turned around and hired Clinton's former FEMA Director James Lee Witt who is now running the show.

Then General Honore showed up on the scene to lead the National Guard. This is the turning point.

Honore showed up, looked around and told the troops to put down the god damn guns and do something. He worked with Mayor Nagin and brought New Orleans back under control. Suddenly food and water started coming in. The water started going down. The worst was over and thank god for Blanco, Nagin and Honore we won our country back. But it sure was close.

Now we have a huge mess to clean up, no thanks to BushCo. but they don't care, their business partners are going to make a lot of money off this disaster either way.

1. BushCo couldn't have taken over NO as much as he wanted to.
He was too incompetent to take it over and it would have blown up, destroying most of the state. So in essence, what happened, had to happen.

He also lost his agenda and almost all capital......Destroying his image works, cause that's all he cares about. :P

3. But that was the plan
to turn this country into chaos. That was why every story in the M$M about the aftermath of the hurricane lead off with stories about looting and shooting. They tried to create the impression that NO had gone wild and that there was danger everywhere. Of course, we would need tanks and guns to protect us and we couldn't even bring in food and water because the people were going to riot. This all turned out to be total bullshit but they created this horrific scenario on purpose. No one's scared of Osama and they needed another 'threat'. Good thing it didn't work.

2. The other victory is that the eyes of some media peopl
have finally been opened. Even Brian Willams of NBC Nightly News is calling the NO debacle "cruel and criminal." I never thought I'd see the day when the MSM sheep would dare to criticize the * misadministration.

4. They are starting to realize
that if this had been a terrorist attack on DC instead, then they would all be in the same boat.
