Why do people persist in thinking that the US is liberal?
What's wrong with these people?

Does anyone know of any sites which explain how far right the US is?

2. Americans have forgotten what liberalism truly means
they think that if you don't spit on "the poor people" as you pass, you're a liberal.

3. I'm considering the possibility that some environmental element
is making Americans stupid.

5. You know, I wish that were true--X chemical that is present
in the soil/plastics, whatever, caused stupidity/denial, etc.

Then all the head-up-the-assedness that's going on in the US would make sense.
