1. You're Right
It's the same scam they're pulling in Iraq... and just about every third-world country in the world.

4. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! This crap has to stop now!
Millions of jobs could be provided for the hurricane victims and I bet they want that task. Before BUSHco saved one life in NO , Halliburton had a contract to rebuild the city and clean it up! This is crap!

9. I read this with huge deja vu - that's exactly what the Iraqis were saying
Iraqis want to rebuild Iraq - they have the engineers, the architects, the scientists - and they don't want Halliburton or Kellogg Brown Root to do it.

11. I know! It's disgusting! Iraqis desperately need the jobs, jobs they had
under Saddam! We took their jobs away and gave them to Halliburton!

13. THE PEOPLE THE PEOPLE THE PEOPLE!
Edited on Tue Sep-06-05 12:01 PM by TheGoldenRule
We must not let go of this! This is one of the things that's been bothering me all week. How they are FORCING people to leave saying it's not safe and blah blah blah. Every other time a hurricane has hit, people very soon go in after to asses the damage to the THEIR OWN HOMES and begin working to get them repaired! It is obvious to me that they just want to bulldoze the entire city. Who gives a damn about history or charm or personal attachments?!!! We CAN NOT let these f-ers get away with this!
:grr: :grr: :grr:
