Homeland Security did not have any provisions for this scenario, apparently.

What is scary is that it is clear that the Homeland Security Department is a sham. Maybe that is why former Gov. Ridge resigned. :shrug:

...and the rest of the country would be united behind Bush's actions. The same fate would befall the poor folks of New Orleans and other hurricane devastated ares, but the media would not be focused on that, you would see attention all aimed at the military response to the terrorists.

there along the Mississippi River? How many other levees are there? How many dams are there that would release floods to how many cities? There is a dam within a mile of my house. I don't think the flashing light and buoys will keep out any determined terrorist. And the whole world knows that our government can't handle water.
