Things like this reinforce my long-standing impression of Republicans as people who are generally unable to grasp and gauge the relevance/importance of things. A lifetime of narrowmindedness, narcissism, self-enrichment, and self-righteousness is inadequate training for the management of public concerns. Iraq is another disaster that would have been avoided by somebody wiser and more experienced.
