Sad Reality - A lot of people in this country hate democrats.........
more than they love their nation. How many "in your face" cluster****s will they tolerate as long as their party is in power?
The answer? It's limitless.
I'd often wondered how low the bar must be for these people and have come to the conclusion that, if you are republican there is no bar.
How low does the bar have to be if you are a democrat. Hell, that's all it takes. That you are a democrat.
The simple truth is that about 30% of the citizens in this country are against what the founding fathers envisioned. They were back then and they are now.
In my eyes it's simple now. If you still support the bush putch then you are a Traitor.

3. They ID their politics like it was a sports team.
As a diehard Red Sox fan, I could never root for the Yankees. ?Even in the World Series....I think that's what we see in these people. Politics as a sports metaphor. It don't matter how bad, incompetent, or corrupt the team is. It doesn't matter if the team flagrantly cheats to "win"...it only matters that the beat the opposition team.

I know one thing, if the roles were reversed and the policies/agenda and results were done by Democrats...I'd have become a Republican a looooong time ago.

4. And you are surprised because ?
First it was the Crazy 60's radicals
then it morphed into the American hating Liberals
and of course will move on to the democrats
and finally, ANYONE who disagrees.

The "Other" is a powerful tool to channel the anger and fear of the masses.

The neocons have the best PR boys money can buy, and damn straight they are gonna make them earn their bread.....

5. With all the RW media hate mongers scapegoating liberals for
everything from being elitists to being baby killers, it's no wonder. I wish we could shut these fucks up somehow. It's already lead to deaths like the beating of Matthew Sheppard because of the hate these rabble rousers incite. This is what they do appeal to the racism, sexism and homophobia of their listeners and say it's because they are liberals.

Class action suit in civil court anyone? Let's start with Ann Coulter and her accusations that liberals are treasonous. There is plenty of evidence. It should be a slam dunk with the right judge.

9. Maybe it's a generational thing. Baby boomers were the "me"
generation and their progeny have only degenerated beyond their parents' selfishness. Democrats represent pulling together, a community, sharing -- and that spits in the face of individualism, I-got-mine-fuck-you, and well, republican values. Let's face it. People would generally cut a check rather than get in the trenches and volunteer their time (if they had the time when they work 2-3 jobs . . .) I was hoping Katrina would be a wake-up call to show we have to depend and rely on each other, like it or not.
