Firing public servants for incompetence -- another Republican issue.

[The Backlash Cometh]

First, they criticized Liberals for using nation building as a diplomatic solution; and then the Bush Administration works to commit us to years of nation building;

Second, they complained that the bleeding hearts allowed too many immigrants into this country, and then the Bush Administration pushes to give illegal aliens recognition and public services;

Then they complained that civil servant protections and Title 8 made it impossible to remove incompetent employees -which was a major reason to privatize everything, and then the Bush Administration appoints cronies who were so incompetent, that they are personally responsible for the death of thousands of people.

So who's harder to fire? A civil servant when the Democrats were in office, or a Bush crony?
