and actually twisted the knife, during the Monica thing, "How can you support Clinton ? He's morally repugnant."
Now I get to say, "This is TRUE moral repugnance. I save my anger for this moral repugnance. Death. Incompetent, vacuum of leadership. Morally corrupt leadership that places no value on human life, but cloaks itself in jingoism."
And I get to say, "Hmmmm, impeachment for lying about adult, consensual sex. What have you got to say for *? How can you support * now. He's beyond morally repugnant."
I don't want to be snide or angry or loud or obnoxious. I just want to treat them the way they treated me. My moral outrage has been simmering for a long time and has finally boiled over.
I want to speak softly and let them hit themselves with the sticks.
And sadly, I don't even feel any vindication in this. I feel so desolate for all we've lost. The artists, the musicians, the inventors, the authors, the peacemakers, the fishermen, the fathers, the mothers, the sons, the daughters...and on and on. Those who will never BE.... either here or in Iraq.
Moral repugnance.
