My In-Laws (who voted for * twice) want bush & all of them impeached!
Just found out a little while ago they are LIVID. They filled the back of their pickup with almost $2000 in supplies and took it to the red cross. Red cross turned them away.

They found an independent truck driver who was getting supplies together and gave it to them.

My In-Laws are staunch republicans and to hear this coming from them is shocking. They've supported the Red Cross and the Republicans for years.

Now, they will never give anything to the Red Cross ever again, because all they want is money, and they want bush and his minions ALL IMPEACHED!

This has turned the tide, IMO. The polls be damned. I think most everyone in the country has turned against bush.

4. My hubby said my RW mom is hopeless.
She still thinks everyone is persecuting bush which equals persecuting christians in her eyes. He said to quit trying with her. I told him I will stop.

3. If you want to help, but don't want to give to the red cross
You can go straight to the state itself at http://Katrina.louisiana.gov/donate.htm

5. I wish my parents would see the light...
...but they are still firm beleivers in the pres and won't ever waver from the party line. I talked to them this weekend about the disaster and they were goose stepping to the beat of the republican talking points w/o missing a beat. I was shocked and appauled to hear my very own parents blame the victims in this.
