Yes we need a national day of mourning, but unless shrub can grab a photo op, it will not happen.

The flags were ordered to be flown at half-mast following the Asian tsunami. Has there been a similar order with respect to the victims of the hurricane and Bush indifference?

as for a day of mourning, surely we will have that when the recovery process is further along. When the magnitude of what has happened can really sink in. Then people can have a better "feel" for whom they are mourning....the tens of thousands of souls.
