Here's what i heard this morning.

They will buy a large piece of land for the cemetary. Individual samples of DNA will be stored and tagged and the corresponding body will be buried and marked in this cemetary. Once the remains are identified the families can reclaim the body and rebury it as they wish. Those not identified will remain in the cemetary. There will be a memorial placed there as well.

It is not a mass grave.

I'm pretty sure it was a report on CNN.

But if they place bodies in one large grave there wouldn't be any way to identify them. This report specifically said that once the remains were idenitifed the bodies could be disinterred (if that's a word) and moved according to the families' wishes. This wouldn't be possible with a mass grave.

As much as I detest the BFEE, I can't imagine anyone standing for thr inhumanity of a mass grave. Especially since the bodies are, presumably, identifiable; nothing like the remains from the WTC.
