It was, and still is, the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S job to spearhead the rescue, evacuation & supplying operations for the New Orleans disaster. You can't expect the people of New Orleans, with what they're dealing with right now, to have the manpower and resources to effectively do ANY of those things. Coming out and saying that the city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana should have been the ones doing these things- apparently with NO help from the Feds?- is absolutely ridiculous.

That's like telling a man with two broken legs to walk to the hospital. IDIOTIC.

When a city is hit this hard, it is the federal government's job to step in and do whatever is needed to help. So stop trying to shift blame, Repukes. You should have done your job.
