Look! Dennis Kucinich is on the Government Reform Committee!
And they're going into hearings on Hurricane Katrina next week. Here's a link to the roster of members on the committee. (1 page adobe upload, website direct)

Write the committee reps and urge them to err on the side of accountability. Not an all out "blame bailout" like the 9/11 Commission or deciding to avoid the issue like with Rove/Plamegate.

2. That's great. But there are 5 more repubs than Democrats. Wonder
why. Sure hope this doesn't get white washed but with the gov't investigating itself, doesn't look good.

3. The only good thing
is that DK will not be silenced, it just depends on if anyone will listen to him. That is a terrible ratio. He won't just shut up though.

5. I highly doubt that...
they would have to preempt Katrina clean up efforts which will saturate the media next week.

It's funny how a 24 hour news network can ignore major issues and instead put in "For Your Health" segments about bird flu that last 15 minutes, but can't seem to slip in federal budget hearings for more than 10 seconds. Yup...it's funny huh?...actually, it's pathetic.
