1. We need to have something less subtle, and I suggest our

voices. I think we've been deferential too long. We need righteous anger and moral indignation to be apparent in all we say. We will not tolerate this this callous indifference to death and suffering! It will not be done at home or abroad in our names!

2. Tired of ribbons

I understand the sentiment, but... I'm just tired of seeing the ribbons. I'm tired of seeing every other car plastered with *something* and the owners thinking "Well, I've made my statement. I'm done." This applies, I believe, to both sides, although there seem to be a lot fewer of us that do this than them.

I want to shout. I want to scream. I want to write this in giant letters across the sky. I don't, however, want another fucking ribbon.

I don't want a ribbon. I want to scream, and a ribbon doesn't scream. A ribbon doesn't speak to the injustice.
