NO HOPE LEFT FOR THE MSM
This was it for the MSM credibility, sure for the first five days of the tragic events, they did their job, they reported the suffering, the deaths, they told us it wasn't good enough, they got extremely upset.

Little did we know, that we were being baited, and we fell it for hook line and sinker.

For in the past 24 hours, the MSM have started the blame game, and of course Bush gets off scott free in the eyes of the media, he did everything right and the big bad black democratic mayor did everything wrong, its all his fault.

There is no hope for the MSM, none whatsoever, they are NEVER going to change, no matter how many emails we write, no matter what happens to their ratings, they are not about ratings, they are about being the puppets of the GOP.

The death toll is going to be between 10000 and 40000 people, even with all these people dying, they still manage to try and make bush look good.

They are beyond help, they have seen dead bodies being eaten by rats, and they still try to make Bush look.

They have seen a shit soaked stadium full of 60 thousand people without water, and they still try to make Bush look good.

The MSM will not blame Bush one bit, they never do. How the deaths of up to 40 thousand people, cannot effect I dont know?

But its over, Bush can now do what he likes to anybody, because he knows the majority of the American public get their news from the MSM, and they will never speak out against him.

3. Oh stop your whining...don't you see that this is just a lull...
...in the storm? The last big thing to happen was Federal Aid, right? Hence, the seeming shift in the tides. The next big thing to happen will be the body count and then you know what is going to hit to fan.

4. Someone will pay for this colossal screw up.
Other than the dead, the mourning, the displaced, that is. And not the Mayor, not the Governor!

White House Press Briefing: Angry Reporters Hit McClellan Hard on Hurricane, Ask if Heads Will Roll

By E&P Staff

Published: September 06, 2005 5:35 PM ET

NEW YORK White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan had not had a full-length press briefing in Washington, D.C. for weeks, and after today, may have wished he had postponed this one. With almost unprecedented vigor, the press corps attacked and probe the federal response to the hurricane disaster, the president's personal responsibility and failure to fire anyone who failed in his or her mission.

Here is a transcript of the relevant portions.

*

Q Scott, the reality at hand right now is that the President said that we still live in an unsettled world. This is an administration that has told us since 9/11 that it's not a matter of "if," but "when" that we could be struck by a terror attack and, obviously, other disasters that are the result of Mother Nature. So at this point, where is the accountability? Is the President prepared to say where this White House, where this administration went wrong in its response to Katrina?

MR. McCLELLAN: You know, David, there are some that are interested in playing the blame game. The President is interested in solving problems and getting help to the people who need it. There will be a time --

Q Wait a minute. Is it a blame game when the President, himself, says that we remain at risk for either another catastrophe of this dimension, that's not manmade, or a terrorist attack? Isn't it incumbent upon this administration to immediately have accountability to find out w

8. MSM as a whole - maybe; reporters who were there?
Uh-uh...

Maybe I haven't watched enough of the MSM lately (although I've seen more than enough), but I have yet to see any of the reporters who were actually on the ground "recant" to any significant level.

I think the way this blows up, eventually, is that the MSM folks who were *there* will refuse to let this die. If you're far enough away and your heart is a couple of sizes too small... sure, it's easier to read the memo and listen to the spin machine.

But for the ones who were there... who saw the criminal acts up close and personally... who watched people dying... For those, and *from* those, I believe (I *have* to believe) there is hope.

10. You just can't hide 10,000 or 20,000 bodies, in America. You can hide
some, and try, but there's only so much you can do.

11. Chill out, this wasn't planned
The reporters that reported that stuff before are going to keep reporting, even if that means reporting stuff you don't like to hear.
