Hillary has called for an independent investigation of the failure
...in Federal aid, relief and response from FEMA, the Homeland Security, the military/national guard and the president of the United States that could have and likely would have prevented much of the the human suffering and loss of life before, during, up to seven after and even following now from Hurricane Katrina.

Hillary's proposed independent investigation makes much more sense than allowing these entities to investigate themselves.

3. It has to be an independent investigation
One that would finally shine the light on what a miserable failure shrub is.

4. I agree. Let the greens and libertarians chair it.
Now, THAT's an independent commission.

5. Finally, someone speaks up. Write to your Democratic
Congressional Senators and Representatives telling them to support Senator Clinton in this. Now is not the time for Clinton bashing. This is a start.

9. Why are Democrats afraid to criticize Bush?
They've accepted the idea that criticizing Bush is "partisan." Only an "independent" entity can question Bush. Why is that? Were there any "bipartisan" investigations of Bill Clinton?

The Democrats should demand a full no holds barred Congressional investigation right away, and go after Bush. Let the Republicans try to stop it.

13. I have no idea
Don't they watch the polls like we do? I'm sure they do. It's mind boggling that's for sure. But someone in the Kerry forum was saying they were watching the Senate floor and saw Kerry, Obama and someone else (I think Feinstein) going over to McCain and they were talking and fingers were being pointed I believe. Heh. Maybe now they're pissed enough???
