11. Heh...
The "enemies of freedom," the axis of evil, and badguys everywhere must be quaking in their boots at the speed US military forces move to help it's own.

...Better not try any evil or the good guys will get you! After a conference call or two, focus groups, and meetings to gauge public reaction.

6. Not the "Comfort" but the "Bataan" has been offshore, ready to help,

since the storm ended. It has six operating rooms, 600 beds for patients, can launch helicopters to bring patients aboard, could send some of the 2,000 sailors in the crew ashore to help. The captain is waiting for orders requesting help. She said "I can't force myself on them."

CLUSTERFUCK!!!

12. I feel so bad for those NG's and military people
who were there and being held back. We feel so helpless as it is, imagine having the resources to actually save hundreds, maybe thousands of people and being told to wait. This is how the administration is going to come crashing down, from eyewitness accounts of our own military.

7. Here she is

Former oil tanker. I don't know how much use it will get. There are reports that the medical facilities on the USS Bataan aren't being used.
