I'm with Dean/Edwards right now for Prez/VP

I think we have a great democratic team

Kucinich for Secretary of DHHS.

Sharpton for Civil Rights Commission.

Braun for Secretary of Commerce.

Gephardt - Secretary of Labor.

Gore - Secretary of State

Defense Secretary - Sam Nunn

Homeland Security - George Mitchell (until he goes to the Supreme Court)

If Dean promised him that spot he would be AWESOME and it would make him a better candidate for Pres or VP down the road.

I actually think Gephardt would make a better VP probably than Edwards but he is a lousy candidate right now

... he bought 30 minutes of prime-time week night air time on all 5 major networks and IMPLORED (in no uncertain terms) his fellow Greens to vote Democrat in 2004 using these specific words: "Our very existence as a self-governing republic depends upon each of you voting for (fill in Democrat nominee)." He would also take out a full-page ad to be run at least 3 times before election day in every daily newspaper with a circulation of over 50K subscribers (plus USA Today), urging the same AND he would mail letters to every known Greenie in the US, same song and dance.

23. It's easy to blame this on him for what happened in Florida.

Many people voted for him, because they were not satisified with Gore, athough he was OK. I voted for Nader partly because I knew Gore would win easily in VT and wanted to make a vote of conscience, not just another vote for a status quo candidate. Nader got 7% in VT, and I believe only 2% in Florida. That 2% in Florida cost Gore the election.

Nader had his chance and now he should take a back seat and maybe accept a cabinet position, if offered. Environment is what he is best at and keeps him out the direct line of fire.

Maybe 4 years of Bush has it's silver lining in that we can now expose alot of what is wrong with this country. The whole world is helping us to open our eyes. And change for me does not mean going from Bush to Bush lite or Bush with a Democrat label, but someone like Dean, who stands for real change.

If it was a closer contest, I would have voted for Gore. Many people did this, for that reason. My own sister in Massachusetts. Many people were expressing a vote of conscience for real change. Now, we will get that chance with Dean, who also happens to be very electable.
