CHARLES MANSON TO OPEN INVESTIGATION INTO THE MURDER OF SHARON TATE.

Charles Manson said Tuesday he will oversee an investigation into what went wrong and why in the murder of Sharon Tate. Manson also announced he is sending Vice President Dick Cheney to the murder scene on Thursday to help determine whether the government is doing all that it can.

"Bureaucracy is not going to stand in the way of getting the job done for the people," Manson said after a meeting at his cell with his jailhouse crew.

"What I intend to do is lead an investigation to find out what went right and what went wrong," Manson said. "We still live in an unsettled world. We want to make sure we can respond properly if there is another pregnant actress murdered."

But Manson said now is not the time to point fingers. "One of the things people want us to do here is play the blame game," Manson said. "We got to solve problems. There will be ample time to figure out what went right and what went wrong."

I posted early Tuesday afternoon that I had finally lost it - and what made me finally lose it was I heard that Bush was going to lead (now that would be funny if he actually led) the investigation into what went wrong. When I heard that I went straight to the phone and called Bill Nelson of FL my Senator, Conyers, Boxer, Clinton and Kerry and went off - about how insane this was.

Oh and BTW one thing I mentioned to Kerry's office as they had told me there would be Congressional investigation I said make sure that Bush and Cheney testify UNDER OATH - unlike their testimony for the 9/11 commission - or maybe I told that to Clinton's office - don't remember because I was crying and yelling - oh my
