McCain on MSNBC: "I'd rather all the money didn't go to Halliburton
and went to locals to do the work instead."

I may not have the exact wording but he just said it on Imus.

6. And more pertainately, his birthday party Tuesday,
where Bush AND McCain were happily smiling over cake. If Bush should have been elsewhere co-ordinating the response - shouldn't McCain have questioned his priorities. On the same show, McCain's FIRST response was that the oil/petroleum lines were in better shape than feared - this in a response to how things were doing. (I know this is important long term, but coupled with the other- ugh!)

This comes from KOS's "Bush's Response, in Pictures," a great short essay in which he puts one shot of Bush from each hurricane day, along with a shot of the reality in New Orleans.

11. This picture is the weirdest one from the 04 season
McCain looks... pained. Chimpy looks, well like Chimpy, as if he doesn't want to be there.

Its the 'fakest' thing I've ever seen.

10. Overall, he kissed butt.
I think he'd be willing to oust Brown, but he was as far up Bush's ass as he's always been.

13. Hopefully, the fact that the Governor refused to turn control of
everything over to the Bush Administration will prevent this from happening.

15. FUJMc
I used to have a little respect for McCain, but all he did during the election season was pimp for * knowing how horrible he was. That is worse than some of the brainwashed idiots that voted for *.

McCain talks out of both sides of his mouth. I will never, ever trust or support him.

have investments in Home Depot to protect and nurture?

17. I'd rather? Well isn't that mighty Christian of him to say!
I'd rather have a world where people didn't starve. But just getting on the radio and saying "I'd rather" doesn't have any teeth. Do something about it, Senator Opportunist.
