Whenever I go somewhere, I always ALWAYS, sweep off my porch, lock my doors and kennel my dog. I make sure the dead bodies are out of sight, I -at the very least-make sure there are no holes in my roof.

I don't see how people could stand having all that dirty water on their floors.

I'd do it all differently! I'd be awaiting a helicopter rescue with pie for everyone and nice clean clothes. I'd have the neighborhood organized into a quilting bee while others "scrapbooked" about our "adventure!"

I don't know how I'd do it---but "somehow I'd figure out a way!"

(the last quote is one I hear too often this week---everyone high and dry and possessing credit cards just *knows* they'd "figure out a way!")
