14. That Would Happen No Matter What

There isn't a treatment center anywhere in the south big enough to treat that much dirty water, which probably has substantial salinity.

You'd have to have a treatment center like the one off I-55 south of Chicago for something like that, and even then the total residence time is probably at least 5 days of treatment. They've got to get that water out of there NOW!

The lake is VERY big and will absorb a great deal of the contaminants in the street water. It will, absolutely, dirty up the lake. It's impossible for it not to do so.

But, they just can't wait another 2 months to pump, wait, treat; pump, wait, treat; pump, wait, treat. . . .
