to stay near their homes and get back as soon as possible.

States everywhere were setting up apartments (where I live people were cleaning apartments for the families to stay in), housing, etc. but people don't want to go.

Plus, they want to find all their family members before they go anywhere and, if they have family somewhere in the country, they want to go stay with them or near them.

It makes sense, when you actually think about it.

They are treating people terribly. It is disgusting.

People just want to help but FEMA continues to fuck everything up.

It is the same as in the days immediately after Katrina when states, corporations and individuals all tried to send help and FEMA turned it away or wrapped it up in red tape so it couldn't get used.

7. I've been thinking about this in relation to the deceased

There are so many people being moved to distant places it seems that this will make it less likely that the dead will be identified.
People will never know where their loved ones went, or even if they survived.

I think it's unacceptable that American dead be buried without being identified.
