C-SPAN: National state of emergency?
Did I hear that right? I was watching C-SPAN and after Ron Paul finished up his amazing speech, they had some announcements. First, they said that Hastert was temporarily passing his responsibilities to someone else and then I think I heard them say that Bush was declaring a national state of emergency due to Hurricane Katrina.

Now, they're just milling about and talking to each other.

What the hell is going on???????
