I dont remember seeing his over-all down in the 30's before now. :shrug:

14. No -- two different polls. You can't compare them and say his rating
has gone up. You have to compare an AP poll against an AP poll and an ARG poll against an ARG poll, etc..

7. He can go lower.
His base is maybe 15-20%, and they won't desert him unless things get a lot worse, which is certainly possible.

The other 20% or so that still "approves" is probably very uninformed. As these folks gradually wake up, his approval will drift into the low 30's / high 20's.

12. It can't go lower than 30 or so
There's 20 percent who would consider themselves honored if the Giggling Murderer raped their toddlers live on TV, and another 10 percent who love the president no matter who or what he is. 36 percent is pretty damn putrid.

The problem is, a lot of these people who disapprove would still hold their noses and vote for him because he's a repuke.
