C-Span 2 - Repugs taking the floor and talking about Iraq soldiers

for 20-30 minutes that have died in Iraq. I'm all for honoring our soldiers but these guys are going on and on forever. What is up with this?

It appears that the repugs are trying to run out the clock and not discuss anything of importance today. Maybe this is business as usual but I've been listening for over an hour and Dewine and McConnell have been reading the biographies of two soldiers the entire time. We know where they were born, they dating habits, hobbies, family members' names, where they went to school, pets, etc. Why aren't they doing the business of the country? Again, nothing against these fine soldiers but isn't there a few more things that need to be addressed today?

Are they trying to keep anything getting to the floor today? Wonder what items will be in the "take out the trash day" news dump tonight? Does every soldier received this honor and for this length?

2. I think they're trying to tie Iraq with 9/11 as much as they can

they won't be around on Sunday, unlike George who will be hawking terror on the Gulf Coast and trying to hug up on as many blacks as he can
