Why do you think Blanco and others.............
in Louisiana aren't blasting BushCo about Halliburton and other atrocities?

Even if they shoulder some negligence regarding this mess at some stage, the glaring criminal negligence of BushCo and now the looting by the Halliburton and Bush even allowing workers to be paid less than minimum wage, seems much greater than any failings by the state and local governments?

Why the continued silence? Or have I just missed them being interviewed?

2. Because Rove said..
.."remember you are just as guilty as us. We go down, you go down harder".

Would you have the courage? The faith in the people of America to see through the spin this time? Not sure i would. They have ruined people far more powerfull.

3. They're afraid he'll withdraw emergency aid to their people.
And, they sure as hell know he'd do it, too,...the bastard!

4. Blanco was asked yesterday about the blaming of her by repubs
like Delay, etc, and her response was:

"They know not of what they speak", lol, perfect response.

6. I hear what you are all saying, but..............
one of the main ways to save the people is to speak out about the CONTINUED ATROCITIES. And one of the main ways to save themselves is to speak out against these criminals. Kind of like Nagin referring to the CIA might take him out for saying what he said last week.

I would hope I would have the courage. I mean, they're trashing her anyway, and FEMA still is fucking up. I would think the only way it can get better is by exposing this CLEARLY. Silence at this time is deadly. Literally.

That's just my own humble opinion, of course.

7. They are very busy doing their jobs instead of talking about it
unlike bush, cheney, brown, chertoff, etc. I have NO doubt once they have done everything they can to actually help their citizens, we will hear a great deal from them on this issue.

8. thanks...........
I hope so. I just fear the attention span of the media and the citizens of this country....and how when given time, BushCo never seems to get nailed.

But thank you for having confidence for me....:)

I'll be quiet now and have patience.

9. The charge of incompetence should not
be allowed to obscure the unambiguous malice inherent in the ongoing actions of FEMA's administration, (confirmed by many disparate agencies), as demonstrated in their pro-active obsruction of the rescue services. This inevitably militated to maximise the death toll, for as long as they dared, with the local agencies eventually taking the initiative.

Even a non pro-active incompetence, when it reaches a particularly high level betrays a culpable level of malice and knavery.

5. They might lose receiving help?
Edited on Fri Sep-09-05 10:43 AM by Whoa_Nelly
Their silence denotes compliance with not rocking the Georgie Boat?

They have been threatened with their lives if they dare oppose the boy king?

I actually think they are very busy, that's why Landrieu and others are taking up the speaking out while they are working on getting the job done. Blanco has been working closely with James Lee Witt.

10. They're kind of busy, right now, and don't want to lose what
assistance they are getting from the feds.

But they are probably keeping copious notes. I hope we see them at the impeachment hearings.
