2. It's not looting I'd be worried about.
It's the "right to return". All those thousands of people are going to lose in this. The govt is going to take their property and give it to the developers.

Watch it happen.

4. There is no infrastructure. There are no stores, no food, no
electricity, no gasoline, no medical facilities, and so on. It's almost like living on a deserted island.

6. After Hurricane Andrew people stayed in their houses. No water
or electricity for weeks to months. They did have easy access to Miami though. How far is the nearest store for food and water? I'm sure there are enough people that could start a business bringing in food and water for them. Yes, something smells here.

7. I think there are also serious health issues
because of all the bodies and other pollutants. I think there may be air born issues too - I have very mixed feelings about letting these folks stay. It is their right to stay and possibly die, but if supporting their right to stay hinders other work needed to be done that is problematic too. But I also worry that they will lose what is left of what they have.

8. Hey, good point of information. I would suspect that the Gulf
coast area has limited travel routes and a lot of damaged roadways. A lot of the folks I saw on TV did not seem to have transportation.
