When did you first hear that the MSM was blaming The Gov and Mayor of NO

When did you first hear that the Republicans were blaming the Governor of Louisiana and the Mayor of New Orleans (both Dems) of what went wrong in New Orleans? Well I first heard it proclaimed on Bill Oliely's show on Friday, September 2nd. This was closely followed up by Greta Van Susteren and her so-called show claiming that the Governor of Texas was 'oh so much more prepared' for such a disaster! Happens that the Texas Governor is a Republic ian! This is bullshit people that the right wing is screaming that the Dems screwed up! Homeland Security IS controlled by a FEDERAL office and THAT is what held up the relief and rescue efforts! Not the governor and Mayor!

for assistance while she was dealing with a major disaster. The Gov on Texas didn't have one of his major cities needing evacuation. This is little comparing apples to oranges.

2. Last Friday it was gearing up

Apparently on either Thursday or Friday, Limbaugh was making commentary blaming it on local officials (state and local). Someone called in to the Ed Schultz show. He nailed it that the RW Media was running cover for them. Then, low and behold!!! Voila!!

Karl must have been listening in for some inspiration on how to deflect and determined that the best path was to go with the flow (so to speak).

4. At the Karen Hughes' Swearing-In Ceremony

(C-Span 9/9/05) It came in plain and clear when we heard this morning that Karen Hughes' new duty was to "dispel WRONG information". Of course we are to think this is for the Middle East...but don't be fooled, she will be making sure that the Bush talking points (and ONLY the Bush talking points) will be heard throughout the MSM in the US. The Democratic viewpoint will be considered wrong information (and Karen Hughes has been authorized to determine what is, or isn't, "wrong information"!)

At this same ceremony, Bush called for the private sector (i.e., Republican-controlled media) to aid in dispeling "wrong information" propaganda. The Bush administration will now determine (via Karen Hughes) which information is "WRONG",...and the private sector will see to it that Americans DO NOT hear it! They are attempting to take COMPLETE control of our government, and doing it right in front of our faces!

Joseph Goebbels would be proud.
