How Soon Before Katrina Is Deemed "Old News" By The RWNM?
The opening salvo was fired this morning on the Today Show by...Joe Scarborough. who opined that 6 months down the road Katrina will be an event discussed along the Gulf coast states but not in the rest of the country. He said it won't have the same effect as 9/11. "In the middle of winter, no one will be thinking of hurricanes."

They're already setting up their exit strategy on being held accountable for the disaster...and with time to spare to get their campaign together for 06.

BTW - have you noticed how crafty they are on the surface? They get Scarborough out there criticizing bushco over NOLA. He now becomes a "moderate, non-partisan" voice in the media. But at the appointed time, they pull the string ("get out there, Joe, or we'll swiftboat you on your dead intern") and send him out to launch the "old news...the country's moved on" campaign. Within a month, you'll be reading "even Joe Scarborough - a Republican who was one of the administration's severest critics after Katrina - says that it's time to move on." They just didn't think they'd have to pull the string so soon.

We need to challenge this shit the second it happens.
