On September 11, 2001, America woke to a beautiful morning. Then the most unspeakable event occurred. Evil terrorists attacked our country and attempted to dash our dreams and steal the dignity of America. Thousands of innocent people were murdered that day.
To those lost at the World Trade Center, in Shanksville Pennsylvania, and at the Pentagon in our nation’s capital, we honor their memories. To the soldiers who have fallen defending freedom across the globe, we thank them.
As we approach the four year anniversary, I hope you will join me in a moment of prayer and remembrance. We shall never forget September 11, 2001, and with every day that passes, we grow stronger as a people and a nation -- freedom rings clearly now and forever.
Sincerely,
Tom Reynolds, M.C. Chairman
P.S. - In light of our nation's most recent challenge, we must stand more united than ever. The strength of the American spirit - nurtured by our caring values - will give us as a nation the resolve to overcome the devastation brought on by Hurricane Katrina. Thank you and God Bless America.
