Apparently, he's trying to get a statue erected in Sheppard's hometown of Casper, WY with the words "MATTHEW SHEPPARD, Entered Hell October 12, 1998, in Defiance of God's Warning: 'Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind; it is abomination.' Leviticus 18:22."

Supposedly it's meant as part of "Gospel demonstrations celebrating the 5th Anniversary of Matt's Entry Into Hell."

Thank God Svend Robinson and the NDP have made sure that this crap won't happen in Canada anymore.

I mean I am religious, and go to church and all, but it strikes me that Fred Phelps might find himself in hell before Mr. Sheppard. I mean, I don't know any version of God who celebrates murder.
