show today? She said she was taking a FEMA truck load of water to Alabama to help with the survivors but it took them 24hours to get through the gate of a navel station. Then, they were sent to another station where she estimated some 400 trucks carry supplies sat because no one was in charge. She said this was a FEMA operation and they were the ones holding everyone up.
It just sort of pissed me off that they have given FEMA managers credit cards with $250,000 limits for this storm and they have tons of supplies going nowhere and you hear everyday that the Katrina recovery costs are going up, from $50 billion to $200 billion and there is no accountability. Stories in today's newspapers all say the $5 billion spent on 911 was also mismanage.
I don't think our economy can handle anymore financial mismanagement. If this is going on here, can't you just imagine what they have done in Iraq with $300 billion.
But back to Limballs, he said that's what happens when you have a huge bureaucracy. I was thinking that's what you get when you have an incompetent president who hires incompetent idiots in high level positions.
