At least TWO Administration officials revealed the identity of a CIA operative, solely in order to enact political revenge against her husband for blowing the whistle on their lies about the Niger Uranium. The agent in question was not just working on any old thing, she was part of the effort to prevent nuclear officials from getting into the hands of terrorists, so their revelation directly affects national security and negatively impacts the war against terrorism.

And it's already starting to look like there are going to be serious allegations of a White House coverup, since they knew all about the leak back in July, but haven't done anything about it.
