Why the action on Brownie? Because of CHENEY, not Bush
CNN says it was after Cheney heard complaints yesterday, including from Chertoff, that he said "Handle it".

Further proof Bush is a hand-puppet.

1. I don't know what's worse? Bush's incompetence or Cheney's evilness?
The two together are Horrendous!:nuke:

2. Actually, Cheney did the right thing THIS tiME!
Cheney is evil, insensitive, and greedy, but he's far from stupid! He knows how to run things, and how to get done what he wants. Sure, he doesn't care about people's feelings, but Brown HAD TO GO, and Shrub was too chicken to do it! Cheney wasn't! I can just hear him say "Handle it!!!"

As much as he scares me because of what he really wants to happen to our Country, he was right in scrapping Brown! I'm sure Shrub was the one who said, don't fire him, just bring him back here. I suspect we'll hear soon that Brownie is going beck home to spend time with his family!

5. That just goes to show you
the only kind of judgment * has is bad judgment.

Congress should really think twice before confirming John Roberts. He is another with no experience. Has anyone checked his resume?

4. The issue isn't what Cheney suggested, but WTF is Bush's role
in this country? He takes vacays and no one is in charge because Cheney is ALSO on vacay? He won't go in and testify (not under oath) to the 911 commission unless CHENEY is there?

It's like Cheney lurks in the background, really controlling the strings while either fooling a mentally ill Bush into thinking Bush is in charge or Bush "acts" because he likes the perks but knows he's just a front man.

Mendacity, greed, avarice, deceit and lies are the tools of the bushistas.

7. People just don't know how bad the next person in charge will be.
It may have been a good PR move - that's all. The rest of them are mostly political appointees also.
