Has Juan Williams ever not sucked?
The most aggressive comment I've ever heard from him was still a big, sloppy, wet kiss to Bush and his surrogates.

Was this shill ever a serious journalist?

4. please explain what sucks about this work:
Juan Williams is a senior correspondent for National Public Radio as well as a political analyst for Fox television. During a long career at The Washington Post, Williams served as an editorial writer, op-ed columnist, and White House reporter.

His commitment to the Civil Rights movement in the United States has produced an impressive body of work: “Eyes on the Prize: America’s Civil Rights Years, 1954-1965” was a PBS television series and book released in 1988; “Thurgood Marshall : American Revolutionary,” his biography of the U.S. Supreme Court justice who penned the landmark Brown v. Board of Education decision in 1954, became a New York Times Notable Book of the Year in 1998. In a 2003 book, “This Far by Faith : Stories from the African American Religious Experience,” Williams traces the roots of African-American religious history. In 2004, Williams led a veteran team of reporters and editors in the production of “My Soul Looks Back in Wonder: Voices of the Civil Rights Experience,” which presents the eyewitness accounts of some 50 activists who served on the front lines of the Civil Rights movement.

5. Okay, I'll give him that one
But in that case, his current incarnation sucks all the more by comparison.

6. Very baffling how this African-American journalist. . .
totally changed from real, investigative journalism (as radio host for Talk of the Nation, PBS) to shilling for the Bush Crime Family.

What price did they meet for him to have such a dramatic metamorphoses?

Or what personal relationship does he have to any of the Bush operatives that would make him flip?

His whoring for Bush is so disappointing since he was very interesting as a real journalist. . .what a waste. . .another casualty of Bushworld.

10. No, he pissed a lot of people off on TOTN
He kept insisting to NPR audiences that America was "over the election" in 2000 and absolutely refused to entertain any notion that many Americans weren't, and won't ever be (as I understand it, he even got in a tiff with his sister over it.) Many were the unacknowledged emails I sent to the NPR ombudsman over that. Eventually New Yorkers got so pissed at him that WNYC dropped TOTN live (I don't know if they have it back even yet) and suddenly Juan was no longer its host. His shilling started back then, though I never thought he was a good host of that show to begin with. He wouldn't listen to the callers.

11. then you just don't know much about him
I am not defending all his opinions, but to dismiss his entire life's work (has he EVER not sucked?) is silly
