Who cares where the buses were?
Edited on Fri Sep-09-05 05:04 PM by DoYouEverWonder
the most important question is 'Where was the Bush Administration?' They all seemed to have been missing in action, not only during the storm but for three days later.

2. They're so shiny, those buses. Shiny, shiny buses.
Wolf Blitzer is mesmerized by the shiny, shiny, buses.

4. And did they have 400 drivers for those buses?
I don't hear that question being asked.

7. And fuel for 400 buses?
And keys?
And directions out of the city?

I suggest that the mayor should have pointed everyone at the Superdome to the 4 or 5 car dealerships closer than any bus depot.
Almost anyone can drive an automatic.
The dealerships would have declared them on their insurance anyway.
And if they were recoverable, they'd have done them the favor of relocating them out of harms way.

Win/win all around, I say.
:D
