"90 percent of refugee's can get jobs now," my sister said this at dinner
We were just having dinner and my old man asked what can we do to help. And my sister said nothing because ninety percent of them can get jobs now if they wanted to. And if we did anymore for them they'll wind up living on welfare handouts like her words- "fat ass here" points too me- and gets up and walks out. The three of us just my mom and my old just looked at each other in complete amazement. Of course she's refering to my ssdi payments. Is this beyond republican table manners?

2. I'm sorry, that is terrible of her
unforgiveable. What a mean-spirited thing for a sister to say. I wish that it surprised me but I have one of those too---she and *her* husband got a fat FEMA check for nothing in Florida in 2004 but she is fast on the draw this week with suggestions for people who can't scam fellow republican functionaries.

It was mean and I'm sure undeserved. I have a relative on SSDI and it isn't easy to qualify. Its beyond decent tablemanners even if you are a republican.

We like ya.

24. more toys they "earned it!"
because..."they deserve them" my brother in law once said that he is of the .....wait...."producer class"

He's a frigging middle manager of the corp hdqtrs of a national bug killing company (well, to be fair they have other types of subsidiaries but I call him "the bug guy" which pisses him off)

They believe that they have *earned* everything and that other people don't have "ambition" without details, let's just say that like many other people they benefited from family loans for their first down payment and have credit card bills up to their necks. Talk about 1 or 2 paychecks from disaster, these fine folks I'm related to are in as dangerous position as any wage worker from a Miss. casino if truth be known.

Want to guess who helps out my SSDI sister? Yep, this teacher not the wife of the "producer class"----and, just for gratuitous slaps: she's a "stay at home mom" by self definition. Problem with that? They have one son who is 23 and lives on his own in another state (another freeper). We like to say: "who you stayin' home for Mom?"
 we can even get my mother going on that one she likes to ask: "why don't you say housewife? that's not a bad word!" But, in her development, the marker of m-class status is "stay at home Mom" whether you have children or not! Go figure.

Leadership starts at the top. These people take their cues from Bush and his media enablers. She's just repeating what she's been told again and again by Rush, Hannity, Coulter and all of the other scum.

16. Man, I am sorry about that
I have those experiences too (have an illness that is not visible and therefore not believed).

To understand how stupid white people can be - one must be black. To understand how heartless well people are - one must have an illness.

Your sister has a hard and mean heart. People like that don't age very well, it tends to show on their faces as the years go by.

Peace to you

(I know the illness you have and you may want to inform your sister that they are finding that pesticides can cause this illness. Repugs want no regulation so they can make even more ill. She may have a genetic link so she better watch out.)

23. You might want to give your sister a friendly warning...
... something like that might cause her to draw on SSDI, too. Because, and I kid you not here, if one of my children were to speak to another one of my children like that, someone would find themselves with a fat, bloody lip... and I don't even spank! Imagine that!

25. What about the evacuees from the nursing home?
Or the extremely sick? Or those who may not have been disable before this but now are? Could she hold a job if she just lost everything in her life including her home, children, bothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, and her friends.

She sounds pretty cold and heartless. She needs some serious deprogramming.

LIFE, can't get a job because she can't go home yet, and even if she could, there is NO COMMERCE, NO ECONOMY, NO NOTHING in NOLA at the present time. Her place of employment was flooded and no one can go back yet.

Tell her that I hate little spoiled rotten girls who have NO IDEA what the fuck they're talking about.
