They called me FIFTEEN TIMES IN FIVE HOURS. They are for family films... at the expense of regular programming... and I'm sure their idea of "family" isn't mine.

i think i had a call from them.

i know i'm a cruel sob, but i have to confess that whenever i get polled by some media group or right-wing cover group (often in the guise of a delusionally non-partisan survey) i saty on the phone and have some fun.

"hmm. well that isn't a very good question. the options don't cover how i really feel about (republican) X. i've heard from my brother in law who's a cop that x is a .... 1) drunk 2) pedophile 3) having an affair with a staffer."

"ohh, no, as far as gay marriage goes, you haven't listed the option of letting them get gun permits. the hell with marriage licenses, i'm far more worried about what they'll do if they realize they can just go to a gun show and load up on ak-47's."

"Santorum? Are you sure he's from Pennsylvania? I knew a Santorum from Cleveland once. He used to boast about having three testicles. Are you sure this isn't the one from Ohio?"
