... is on now, and it's better, and more intriguing, than that disappointing hour I just watched on the major networks.

Maybe it's just me, but I found it pretty underwhelming. Needed to be longer. Maybe MTV/VH1's three-hour effort next week will be better.

Richard Pryor and Queen Latifah are on now, defending Kanye West. Good stuff here.

1. I thought the other friggin rocked.

Really tremendous music I thought--yeah, it needed to be longer, but every performance was very, very good.

Plus, I saw Adrien Brody.

I did pop over to the BET show quick, what was Erykah Badu talking about? I thought she was saying Mosaic law, but she kept bring up that word which I guess she's meaning God? Mosa? Motai?

4. Yup, I saw. I switched over for a while from NBC a few minutes

ago, and I was surprised to hear she'll be coming on. I switched back to NBC. I don't want to see her pretending to be black. Or pretending to give a shit.
