We could have beat the government there and saved people
seems the biggest problem was fema and this stupid security stuff - they did not let people in to help until they were cleared - they still have people waiting all over the country before letting them in to help.

Those canadians got in before anyone esle was there - because fema had not set up road blocks yet.

This over paranoia about security versus rescue is killing us

We could have beat the government there and saved people by getting there before they set up all those security blocks that kept out help.

Fema needs to be outside of homeland security if we are every to survive a disaster. The way the government is setup - they are the terriorist.

Bin laden doesn't have to attack - * wh already does it with every way they have organized and tie up everyone with bureacracy.

They are on overkill - in trying to protect against terrorists the government has become the enemy

2. Yeah and Bush ran on his great ability to keep America safe

His only good poll numbers were he was a strong decisive leader, what a cruel joke.

3. I would have risked my security to get supplies into those people
after seeing them on tv in such desperate conditions. I suspect many of the aid workers would have also.
