Challenge: Name One Thing the Bush Admin Has Done Successfully
Income is down except for the richest
The economy sucks
Gas prices are out of sight
Afghanistan is a drug-ridden disaster
Iraq had no WMDs
Our prisons became a source of international outrage
OBL was never captured and remains at large
We are in an ongoing no-win situation in Iraq
Our allies have been alienated
Our deficits are at record highs
One of our most historic cultural treasures has been leveled
Our citizens died while aid was withheld after a natural disaster

---------------------------

What has this administration done well?

Is there ANYTHING???

Wouldn't you like to ask W this question? You said you can't think of any mistakes you've made. Let's put it this way: What have you done right?

Gotten control over most of America's "mainstream" media in order to stop the TRUTH from reaching Americans ears.

Thankfully some of us never bought the BS and used other legitimate sources to get real news.

42. Probably true however the polls have been fairly consistent...
showing the majority of American HAD kept saying he's doing a good job... until very recently. Personally my husband, my 2 adult DD's and I have been "10%ers" straight through. :)

I wasn't implying that the majority voted for him... I KNOW that Gore won and I believe he won not only the popular vote but the electoral (which I personally think should have been abolished LONG ago). When they got away with that I also knew that that they'd probably do it again. With their voting issues that time Ohio looked like the most likely spot but I think they pulled a few "tricks" in other states as well.

5. Actually, Chimpo is very very smart. He hasn't made any mistakes at all
everything he has done has been purposeful and deliberate. Everything he has done has been a success. All he has ever done, or ever tried to do, was steal money, even at the cost of hundreds of thousands of lives, for his friends, and he does it very well. Why rebuild the NO levees when a good flood would enable his buddies to steal the entire city by eminent domain? Why have peace when Halliburton needs war contracts? Shrub is an excellent multitasker, managing to vacation constantly and still never missing any opportunity to rob from the poor to give to the rich.

money from the U.S. Treasury into the pockets of their patrons (and their own pockets, one would presume). Their stock in trade is fraud. Silverado Savings? Run by a Bush. Payed for by the ignorant suckers known as the American People.

Or, how about George H. selling public lands, on which a multi-billion dollar Gold mine is located, for $10,000 to one of his cronies, and then, after leaving office, taking a seat on the board of directors.

Katrina is a golden opportunity, as long as they can manage the fallout over their incompetent handling of FEMA, and that'll probably blow over. The kitty is up to 50 billion bucks. That's a lot of loot.

Money grubbing is the main order of business.

The list of dubby's accomplishments is by necessity very short.
1. He pulled off the most miraculous silent coup on America, that a lot of people don't even realize hit them. This is truly an accomplishment that will be written about for hundreds of years when it is uncovered fully.

7. 1. Inaugurated a President in 2001 without having won the
popular vote or the electoral vote (articles on recounts in FL gave the state to Gore, so he should have gotten the electoral vote) and managed to pull another "selection" in 2004. They are masters of election deception.

2. Launced a War in Iraq on false intelligence and even tho through time it's been exposed, still remain in office. Great PR folks.

3. Continue to suppress "whistle blowers" for the sake of national security so that we may never know the truth about 911.

Something didn't seem right about those accomplishments.

2. I hope to God that Condi, Colin and the AG(can't think now Gonzales?) are not the best and the brightest that the African Americans and Mexican Americans can provide. They were nothing but shills for the administration and have sold their souls to the devil in my humble opinion.

33. Ask my sister, who lives in Silver Spring . . .
in a residential area a mere six blocks away from where one of the first victims was shot dead just getting on a bus, if there's been "no terror attacks on American soil since 9/11". I would think people having to run to their cars as moving targets for two months and living in utter fear of an anonymous guy blasting them from the many wooded areas in Mont-G County and Virginia would be considered an act of terror.

And this is one that Simian George didn't even get involved with. As usual.

41. No "more" -- what about 9/11 and the anthrax attacks?
Both happened on Bush's watch after he ignored Clinton administration warning and the Hart-Rudman report, and after he appointed Cheney to head a terrorism task force (in May '01) that didn't meet till AFTER 9/11.

Those responsible for both are still at large, 4 years later.

And even if we have not had an attack HERE since those two events, our partners in the Iraq misadventure (Spain, U.K.) have had terrorism on their soil, apparently directly related to Bush's war.

Furthermore, there were 8 years between the first Trade Towers attack and the second. Not being attacked again -- yet -- doesn't say much to me. I look at the state of the ports, chemical and nuclear plants, loose nukes around the world, etc., and at Bush's part in NOT doing anything about those problems. I don't feel safer, do you?

So, I wouldn't call his record on terror very good.

They can't think of anything to prop this guy up.

Seen alot of positive posts on how great Bush is doing on Conservative sites lately? Something based on facts? Of course not. A majority of them can't think of a single thing. So they drag out some pitiful Clinton response or make the average "lefty" remark.
They can't come up with anything anymore.

It's become SO routine with them, they don't even realize they're doing it and they don't even get that they STILL can't make a legitimate case on why their guy is better and good for this country. It's nothing but jingoism, morals, values, the old Rushist line of "yeah, you turn this country over to the liberals and you see what happens" . . . just stupid strawmen that don't amount to beans when it comes to GOVERNING.

You go to ANY of these sites and it's ALL about hating anything associated with Democrats, the Left, Clinton, Kerry, Gore, Boxer, etc and not really a microspeck smidgen (at least not one that can't easily be refuted) on why * is good.

19. I've asked this question since 2003 and I have YET
to hear a legitimate, honest-to-goodness, help the middle & working-classes AND the poor accomplishment that Lancelot Link has achieved that I cannot refute SO easily.

"He maikes uhs SAFE" NO, he doesn't. Ask New Yorkers. Ask DC residents. Ask the WORLD. Ask the next city that's BOUND to fall victim to another MIHOP. Better yet, ask the thousands of homeless and dead in NOLA. Has his on-the-spot governing and funding made THEM safe?

"He gayve me uh tax cut" NO, he didn't. The state took it away, as did increased gas prices, education cuts, property taxes, tolls, stagnant wages, etc. Your grandkids will be paying for that lottery $600 bucks you got tenfold. There is NO free lunch, rube.

"Thuh economy's better" NO, NO, FUCK NO it's NOT. It's a phantom. This (p)residency is buoyed by a faux unemployment rate and job creation that falls mostly in the low-paying bracket (any Paul Roberts column will reveal the actual quality of the jobs created during Shrub's term). By the way, it's the WEAKEST job creation record by employers after a depression or a recession since, well, the Great Depression. Rich people making substantially more money hasn't translated in wages going up for the rank and file, hasn't curbed offshoring, hasn't created much needed volatility in the dead stock market and hasn't created very many living wage jobs for anyone.

"We're winnin' the wahr on terr" NO WE'RE NOT, BECAUSE IT HASN'T AND NEVER WILL START!!! GOD!

"Well . . . Uh . . . damn it, Ah just like HIM and hate fuckin' Dummycraps!!!"

Thank you. At least there's a legit REASON that Dumberica keeps supporting this fucking idiot.

ExxonMobil had a net profit of over $25 Billion last year (yes, I said Billion) - that is an all-time record in world history for any corporation. This year, they are on pace to shatter that record. The old record has been like $17 Billion.

Many other top corporations have had profit levels not seen since the roaring 20s.

CEOs have had their salaries increase at 4-5 times faster than the "rank & file" workers.
