2. Yes, for these reasons:
1. Benburch hits it right on, "BECAUSE" of 9/11, it is worse. Because we should have been prepared. This administration has built its empire on telling us how we needed them to be prepared. But we are not.

2. The death toll may be higher. I'll take this off as a reason if it turns out it's not, but in cold hard death numbers, we're looking pretty big.

3. The terrorist who attacked us was from within this time. This country elected him and his cronies. At least the salaries of the last terrorists were not paid for by our tax money and the money of the dead and other victims.

3. Yep, "from within".......
Many years ago my late husband remarked that "this country willnever be destoyed from outside; but from within." That was when the big fuss was about Coummunism taking over....well, it didn't, but it looks like Fascism could. Scary.

5. Fascism did. Not 'could'. In fact, it has been there all along. Now it is
POLICY.

4. measuring it any way you want...
it is worse. Katrina is a continuing catastrophe. The inconsistencies and lack of logic are not in evidence with Katrina. Too many people saw what they saw...it can not be spun. With all the bodies swept away with the water went any claim to a government of the people.

7. I agree. By any measure, it's worse.
Not to mention the fact that there's an excellent chance that this will happen again, and there's absolutely nothing we can do to stop it. We can ONLY prepare for the danger and try to lessen the human toll. At both of which this government proved it fails spectacularly.
