Republicans: The Party of NO
Yes, they are responsible for the mess in New Orleans, due to their obsession with killing off benefit programs for the poor and funneling the money to their political cronies. The Levee money didn't go to Iraqis, it went to Halliburton. How ironic that Halliburton will also profit from Katrina!

In another sense, NO is the real mission of Republicans. It is their one strategy across the board, it is the word that unifies their furious cultists.

Republicans say NO to drugs, in famous parlance.

But NO means NO to these tightwads in more ways than one. Here are a few:

NO sex. (Except for the secret kind they hike up their pay-cable bills with and their big-media contributors make millions off. But that's a secret. For everybody else it's abstinence only.)

No birth control, no abortion.

NO "bad language"

No immigrants.

NO BLACKS ALLOWED

NO Jews in my neighborhood.

NO Welfare

and its partner NO JOBS

and NO FUNDS FOR DAYCARE

NO Democrats in this meeting!

NO non-Christians on this network

NO controversial art in MY city!

NO criticism of (their) President

NO BLOWJOBS in the White House!

No women allowed in this establishment

No women at the executive level (ssshhhhh! another secret!)

May I pause here to congratulate Republicans on how brilliantly they have disguised their blatant misogyny and racism by appointing minority women who irrationally espouse the NeoCon ideology? Really shut us feminists up! Of course they are little more than deranged paid shills, (Coulter and Condi?I'm talking to you!) But when we attempt to comment on the essence of GOP racism (and racism IS the essence of the GOP) 1000 clowns descend on us with the Condi/Powell gambit.

It's just not even worth responding to.

To continue:
NO Unions

No Michael Moore

No Rock and Roll

No protestors within 5 miles of the pretzel.

No pretzels within 5 miles of a non-screened American Voter.

NO COUNTING THE VOTE IN FLORIDA!!!

No elections that are fair and transparent: Republican contributors count our votes across the nation.

NO CLEAN WATER WITHOUT THE CORRECT STAMPED FORM!!

NO CALLING THE NAKED EMPEROR NAKED!

NO HELP TO THAT LIBERAL CESSPOOL NEW ORLEANS!! (until forced to do so)

You get my point, I'm sure. Is there anything the NO party is absolutely 100% behind?

NO ADMITTING MISTAKES!!!

1. We are the party of hopes and dreams.
The GOP is the party of fears and nightmares.

2. yeah, too true
it's chilling to realize that what to us is a nightmare is to them a fond and beautiful fantasy of their most cherished desires. Brutal, bought-out judges? Torture? Wars of Aggression? Hey, Republicans are behind that 110% and fightin' proud of it. Deluded cretins.
