Gas price yo-yo in AZ

Yesterday gas at the two Diamond Shamrock stations near my house had gas at $3.07. Today one of them had it at $2.99 at 8am but, when I drove by it again an hour later, it had returned to $3.07.

I drove by the other one just to see and it was $2.99 there. I filled up there.

What's with the yo-yo prices? Our democratic governor Napolitano is launching an inquiry into why prices spiked here and are about 15 cents higher than California's (whose are normally higher than ours).

I run a small business and decided to look back from January on our gas prices (South Florida).
I found that from Jan-Aug (before Katrina) average price rose 45%, with an additional 19% immediately following Katrina. 73% overall from Jan-present.
73%!!!
We have a new economic phenomenom: Sneakflation.

Oh, don't forget the record profits for the oil thieves. And what about those leeches in the trading pits?

3. I thought at first the Gov. had shamed them

into reason or scared them. But then I thought about it and realized that nothing would scare the oil companies with that * in the WH.
