Has the NRA responded to reports of Gun confiscation ??

I heard reports of guns being taken at gunpoint(read that twice) from citizens in the city of NOLA during the week. The NRA is an organization that justifies it's existence by upholding Second Amendment rights. I was just curious if anyone heard a statement from them yet?

9. They are for any law that gets people to buy guns. If yours is taken

away in a manner where you will have to go out and buy a new one in some other state when you finally leave NO - goody for them.

I think they are doing brisk business all around the south. That lawlessness just keeps paying & paying.

This is more free advertising and free fear for them.
