Need some sign slogan help please

Tomorrow, my little town has a parade that goes right by my house. After the parade, the traffic getting to the "festival" grounds backs up and is bumper to bumper for somewhere between one and two hours, going both directions.

I have four two feet by four feet pieces of plywood ready for display in my yard tomorrow. I just need some slogans that will get the message out, get people to think, and give them something to talk about while they wait in the next mile of traffic to the festival grounds.

I was considering one with the dead and injured count from Iraq, one with the counts from LA, MI, and AL, with one in between that said "How many deaths will it take til we know, that too many people have died". My room mate thinks it may be too radical for this sleepy little town in MA and that they might end up talking about what a radical I am rather than the message itself. I don't want to be the topic of discussion, I want the message to be.

So, I need some help with some thought provoking slogans that will fit on those boards.

8. I had been gunho in the three I's myself but

roomie thinks they won't get it. If I was handing out fliers to the slow moving cars, then maybe that would work, but as of right now, I have no plans to do that. (not that I didn't think about it, just can't afford it)

I just don't want to offend with the KKK thing.
