6. Thanks - I think I needed that.

It was strange, previous to reading that fantasy piece I was mosying along in my misery for the victims of Katrina, the victims of bush (all of us) and the moral superiority that we all have over "them" (bushistas). Then reading about what could have, should have happened almost overwhelmed me.

It IS about the motion to fix it, but man they have pus back so far....I'm tired. When things are so bad that the only positive you can see is the possibility of the "enemy" taking a fall...when the thought of how things could be better is a daring and unrealistic fantasy...we have sunk so low.

edited to clarify meaning

7. I don't think you concentrate on the enemy taking a fall. I think you
live the life you are meant to and be a positive force. And then you get up the next day, and again - you try to overcome. And the next. You will be reminded all the time how the freaks have diminished your life and that of those around you. You must think of working hard in the next elections. Very important to pace yourself. Very important to not exhaust yourself. Very important that you be true to who you are and not let them try and teach us to behave as adolescents or that these are all just games - so why won't we be any fun and play.

This is serious stuff. But the journey - the everyday things are important too. The little things. The way helping others comes right back to you in a myriad of happiness.

Take care of you and yours. And keep learning and education yourself. Knowledge is power.

I'm sorry it is so very hard what you are facing & going through. I know how it hurts. Like the link says: "Courage".

5. Now if only TygrBright were FEMA director...
Her scenario was fantastic. That is exactly what should have happened.

8. Tygerbright's story needs to
get out - everyone needs to read this. This is the America we, or many thought we were. The contrast is astounding.
Well written too.
