Let's pile it on: Abu Garib photos, Plame, Katrina
Will the Abu Garib photos finally come to light? Does anyone know the status of the law suit?

Will Fitzgerald indict Rove in the next few weeks?

Will gas prices come down a bit while home heating costs freeze us?

Sorry, but I hope the shit his the fan so we can get these creeps out.

1. yes it would be nice if those jeff gannon
photos got another round of "applause"
and if we could figure out where the 9billion or so got lost in iraq
(for that matter, ON WHAT have they already spent the 10B they've already been allocated for Katrina relief)
What is the status of Ohio?

3. There is so much Bush has done to bring the US down
Hopefully it's not to late to salvage the basics of democracy.

2. What does it say (scream) about the American political system
that the likes of these are in high places.... just look at what they have done in a few short years. I think it says that people are gullible, easily swayed, and victims of the dirty politics the RWingers applied to get where they "think" they are.... in control.

4. Though I do not expect
that either Judith Miller or Lawrence Franklin will have a spark on conscience, I think that they may both take singing lessons this fall. Though the networks are not planning any new series, I wouldn't be surprised if their singing leads to a lot of air-time for the Plame and neocon/AIPAC scandals.

8. Judy may be cutting a deal...
Which would only show her yellow belly and show us what we've known for quite a while: Judy is complicit in the run up to the iraq war. She imbedded to become a media star, and certainly would have if Chalabi hadn't fed her total bs.

From Reuters UK:

Abrams said Miller remained "resolute" and would not reveal her confidential source to a grand jury in the case, which could shake up an administration already reeling from criticism over its response to Hurricane Katrina. The probe has ensnarled President George W. Bush's top political adviser, Karl Rove.

But lawyers close to the investigation say there are signs that the 20-month-long inquiry could be wrapped up within weeks in a final flurry of negotiations and legal manoeuvring.

Asked if talks were under way with special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald, a Justice Department prosecutor, to secure Miller's testimony and release, Abrams said: "If there are any discussions, they would be private."

"She is there (in jail) for a reason. At this time, the reason is still there. She made a promise and, unless properly released from her promise by her source, she has no choice but to continue to take the position that she's taking," Abrams said.

Sounds to me like she is getting ready to talk, even if only to save her own hide.

6. I'm ready for....the reckoning. GOP attitude adjustment.
Sometimes you just gotta kick 'em when their down. It's better that way.

9/11 - kick 'em in the face, bust their lips

WMD - kick 'em in the face, deliver 2 black eyes

IRAQ - break their fucking noses, continue to kick in face

ABU G - deliver large collective kick to groin, flip over, use glowsticks, kick in face again (preferably with steel toed boots)

KATRINA - Proceed to deliver punishment, preferably maces, brass knuckles, and the like. Be creative.

Moral to story:

Don't ever, EVER let these fuckers do this to our country again! God help us.

7. They will self-implode
No need to pile anything on - bush won't finish his second term.

The neocon corporate fatcats are raiding the kitchen pantry(record oil company profits/big govt contracts to halliburtons) before the big fall.

I wonder if they have any idea how badly they have hurt this country, and other countries too. Its truly criminal in every way. Generations of americans in the years to come will be paying the the price for the massive mistakes and crimes of this administration.
