1. it was very revealing

to see who freaked out more about looting than dead people floating. Kyra Phillips comes to mind the night all she could say was "looters loot looty loot loot looters". I never saw an anchor go so nearly hysterical before. I thought a camera guy might have to slap her or something.
Most others just thought "well, hell yeah, if my government abandoned me to die and starve, heck yeah I would be looting too".

2. I respectfully disagree

Looters are criminal parasites regardless of race. They offend our innate cheat-detector. That same cheat-detector is buried in the emotional cortex of all the primates. It's what fuels our extreme emotions to *. It's also what fueled the prominence of looter coverage.

If you want some bona-fide racism look at the police on the bridge to Gretna.
